Piper Aircraft proudly announces its partnership renewal with Boeing, arguably one of the most robust OEM parts inventory and distribution structures in general aviation. This establishes Boeing Aircraft as the exclusive distributor of key aviation components and parts manufactured by Piper for the next five years.
Under the agreement, Boeing will manage the distribution of critical Piper parts, ensuring seamless availability and support to Piper’s extensive global network of customers and operations. Boeing currently maintains over $22 million in Piper parts inventory with a 98%+ fill rate on forecasted parts. Additional parts inventory spans across the Piper Global Service network, including a $1.5 million depot at Piper Germany to service the European market, with Boeing’s warehouse location at DFW proving to be advantageous for international shipments. This collaboration marks a significant milestone for both companies, leveraging Boeing’s robust distribution capabilities with Piper’s cutting-edge technologies.
“We are thrilled to grow this partnership with Boeing,” said Ron Gunnarson, VP of Sales, Marketing & Customer Support at Piper Aircraft. “This agreement underscores Piper Aircraft’s commitment to delivering exceptional quality and service in the aviation industry. In the coming year, look for improved response time and dedicated, Piper-specific CSR assistance.”
Boeing (formerly Aviall) has served as Piper’s primary spares depot since 2010. The company’s dedication to worldwide distribution and customer satisfaction aligns seamlessly with Piper’s commitment to innovation and reliability in GA manufacturing.
The partnership between Piper Aircraft and Boeing exemplifies a shared commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction in the aviation industry. Together, both companies are poised to set new standards in aerospace distribution and service.
